As Nigeria marked its 64th Independence Anniversary, Engineer Samuel Jackson, the President of the Nigeria Arm Wrestling Federation, delivered a powerful message to the nation, calling on all Nigerians to remain resilient and believe in the indomitable spirit of the country.

Jackson pointed out that the challenges Nigeria faces are not insurmountable. He acknowledged the country’s history of overcoming difficulties and expressed confidence that the nation’s future is bright if citizens remain united and determined.

Reflecting on the struggles of the past and the achievements of the present, he highlighted the importance of unity and perseverance in nation-building.

“Nigeria is not just a country. It is an idea, a force, and a spirit. The Spirit of Naija is unbreakable,” Jackson stated.

“We have faced adversity before, and we will continue to overcome. I urge every Nigerian to believe in that spirit, to stay strong, and to contribute to the nation’s progress in their own way.”

As the president of the Arm Wrestling Federation, Jackson drew parallels between sports and nationhood, pointing out how arm wrestling, much like the fight for Nigeria’s independence, requires strength, focus, and strategy.

He encouraged Nigerians to channel that same energy into their daily lives and national duties.

“Arm wrestling teaches us to hold on, to never give up, even when it seems like you’re losing ground. That’s the same determination we need for Nigeria,” he added.

Jackson’s words come at a time when the nation is grappling with various socio-economic challenges, yet his message remains one of hope and perseverance.

He reminded Nigerians that despite the odds, the nation’s strength lies in its unity, its people, and its unwavering belief in the Nigerian spirit.
