He urged the clubs to initiate player registrations promptly to ensure smooth participation in the league.

The Ardova Handball Premier League comprises two phases, with the first phase having taken place in May 2024 in Benin City, Edo State. After the initial round, Tojemarine Academy leads the men’s category with 33 points, followed closely by Rima Strikers of Sokoto and defending champions Niger United. As the league heads into its second phase, Tojemarine Academy faces stiff competition from formidable teams like Niger United and former champions Kano Pillars.

In the women’s category, defending champions Safety Babes are at the top of the standings with 27 points, three ahead of second-placed Defender Babes. Safety Babes aim to make history by winning the league for an unprecedented fourth time, while Tojemarine Academy hopes to secure their first championship title.
