The Nigeria Archery Federation (NAFED) engage different participants from various States, Public and Private Institutions and Sports Enthusiasts across the Country.
The event which was initially planned to accommodate larger number of States and Agencies was postponed because of logistic reasons, a situation that compelled the Federation to put in place logistics to organize a staggard programme package for participants that were on ground and ready.
The events that place were, Archery entry level training for Athletes, Coaches and Officials along with the 2019 General Congress during which the Constitution of NAFED was officially rectified and adopted.
Participants at the event numbered close to 104 sports men and women from 10 States and the Army, Navy, Airforce, Police, Immigration, Road Safety, Prisons, Civil Defence, States in attendance are Niger, Imo, Abuja, Kogi, Platuae, Oyo, Kwara, Benue, Ogun, Zamfara.
The demonstration match saw the Police and the Armed Forces/Defence Team leading in the Competition haven gotten accurate shots at target severely which shows that the sports has bright future.
The Federation President, Mohammed Baba Abdullahi commended the participants expressing his delight and surprise at the massive turnout and enthusiasm shown by the participants.
He further appeal to the participants to be become good ambassadors and mouthpiece of Archery throughout Nigeria.
