Association Proprietor Football Academies of Nigeria, APFAN Lagos chapter has concluded plans to organise summer football camping scheduled for August.
The summer football camping would involve U-13 and 15 football academies and the two weeks camping would hold at Alade sports stadium, Ipaja Command, Alimosho.
Commenting on this programme, the chairman APFAN Lagos chapter, Prince Tunde Alade said he has begun to contact their affiliated club owners about the summer camping and most of them were interested to take part in the two weeks programme.
“Very soon, the schools would be on vacation and we APFAN Lagos chapter are planning a summer camping for our affiliated academies. Presently some of our affiliated coaches and club owners are interested and I have talked to some of our members and they are willing to participate when the time comes,” he said.
Alade disclosed that the registration forms would be on sale by the next two weeks saying that the organisers are targeting 16 teams in each category.
The club administrator also urged the participating teams not to take summer football camping as a do-or-die affair saying that the essence of the programme is to keep the kids busy during their holiday period.
