World Heavyweight Boxing Champion, Anthony Joshua, who was on a short visit to his birthplace, Sagamu in Ogun State was spotted at the Palace of the Akarigbo of Remo in Sagamu at about 1pm, Thursday.
Although details of his visit remain sketchy as there was no official statement from the palace on the visit of their illustrious son, Head of the Anthony Joshua Supporters Club in Sagamu fondly known as Mr Naira, confirmed the presence of the boxer to reporters.
The Akarigbo of Remoland is the royal title of the paramount ruler of the thirty three towns that makes up the Remo kingdom in Ogun state in Nigeria The capital of the kingdom is Sagamu or Shagamu also known as Ishagamu and it is made up of thirteen of the thirty three towns that makes up the Remo Kingdom.
