The 2022 Anioma Nations Cup enters its knockout stages starting from this weekend following the conclusion of the Group stage.
Chairman of the Delta North Football Coaches Council Coach Emeka Okwutu announced the 16 Qualifiers on Thursday as the draw for the last 16 is billed for Friday at the Squash club asaba.
The 6 top teams from.the group stage along with 6 runners up qualified automatically with 4 best losers selected to make up the last 16. Twenty four teams took part in the group stage.
FORMAT OF DRAWS
The top six teams will be seeded and their opponents will be drawn from the best losers of four teams and any two teams from the second place teams, while the rest will be drawn to play each other.
Four venues have been selected to host the last 16 which includes Adiagbo play Ground Ogwashi uku, Agbor township Stadium Agbor, kwale township Stadium and St molumba play Ground Okpanam.
