The Italian School football pitch, Lekki, Lagos State was a beehive of activities on Thursday, August 26 as popular comedian and actor, Ayo Makun popularly known as AY celebrated his 50th birthday with a novelty football match.
The Authentic Nigeria Football and Allied Sports Supporters Club, ANFASSC stole the show with a very colorful display which thrilled and delighted the people of timber and caliber that were present.
The game was between Super Star friends of AY and Super Star friends of philanthropist and sports enthusiast Engr. Noah Dallaji.
In attendance were ex-internationals Joseph Yobo, Daniel Amokachi, Kanu Nwankwo, Emmanuel Emenike, and Victor Ikpeba.
Others who were at the event are ex International Tijani Babangida, Daniel Amokachi, Gbolahan Salami, super Eagles midfielder, John Ogu as well as Hip Hop artist Reekado Banks among others.
President of ANFASSC, Prince Abayomi Ogunjimi said it was a thrilling experience, he added that he was delighted that everyone at the venue enjoyed the display of the Authentic brand who rolled out the drums and other musical instruments to cheer and celebrate the personalities.
“It was fun all through, it gladdens my heart that we did what we know how to do best and we imbibed the sporting culture into those that are from the entertainment sector”

The ANFASSC president noted that his supporters’ club is eagerly anticipating the next Super Eagles outing where the three-time African Champions will play host to the Lone Stars of Liberia in Lagos.
