Anayo Iwuala’s Brilliant Assist Sends Al Arabi SC to Crown Prince Cup Final

Nigerian winger Anayo Iwuala proved to be the difference-maker as his decisive assist helped Al Arabi SC edge past rivals Al Qadsia with a narrow 1-0 victory, securing a place in the Crown Prince Cup final.

In a tense and closely contested semifinal clash at the Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium, it was Iwuala’s moment of brilliance that unlocked a stubborn Al Qadsia defense.

The former Enyimba star weaved his way past two markers on the right flank before delivering a perfectly timed low cross into the box, where his teammate calmly slotted home the match-winning goal midway through the second half.

Al Qadsia, one of Kuwait’s most decorated clubs, fought hard to find an equalizer, but Al Arabi’s defense held firm under pressure, thanks in part to a disciplined backline and outstanding goalkeeping.
