Anambra State have emerged winners of the 4th NCC Tennis League sponsored by Nigerian Communication Commission in Warri, Delta State.
The Anambra team took top spot on Sunday, with a score aggregate of six to one.
The competition, which held in Warri for the first time, featured a total of 12 teams, drawn from the six geopolitical zones of the country.
Warri was chosen as venue to encourage Team Orofina from the oil rich Delta State city, which appeared in the league for the first time.
Tournament commissioner, Duke Onojeide expressed confidence in all the teams that participated to show even greater marks in years to come.
He described the players as young and energetic youths that are bound for greater exploits in the game of tennis for Nigeria and beyond.
