Following approval by the Inspector-general of Police IGP Mohammed Abubakar Adamu, NPM mni, for the hosting of Police Games 2020 in Anambra State, the Force Sports planning Committee chaired by the Force Secretary AIG Alkali Baba Usman psc(+) FDC arrived the Command Headquarters, Awka for a two days official engagement with the local organising committee (LOC) members to review final arrangements for the Police Games scheduled to hold tentatively in the first quarter of the year 2020 in Anambra State.
The Sports Committee also visited venues where the sporting events will hold in order to ascertain levels of preparedness for the games regarding facilities and to determine the progress of work done so far.
The Chairman and members of the Committee equally paid a Courtesy visit to His Excellency the Executive Governor of Anambra State, Governor Willie Obiano and thanked him on behalf of the Inspector-general of Police for his commitment towards ensuring the success of the event.
