Defender Stanley Amuzie says that he is ‘not disappointed at all’ for his role at Lugano, asserting that his ‘time will come’.
The young defender has impressed in three games for Lugano in the Swiss Super League this term.
“I’m not at all disappointed. Last year I played about 16 matches and this season I’ve played in three already,” Amuzie has countered when quizzed on his situation by Sports247.ng.
“I think I’ll end up playing more than last year and anything that means improving is very good. I’m young and there is no need to rush things.
“My time will come. I’m working hard, and I am just thinking about enjoying myself at this club and with our fans.”
Amuzie was an important member of the Nigerian team that won Bronze medal at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.
