Amputee Eagles Give Thanks To All Helpers

Nigeria’s physically challenged soccer team, Special Eagles have finally found enough leverage to embark on their adventure to this year’s Amputee Football World Cup in Mexico, and sports247.ng can report that the squad is giving thanks to everybody that supported them finally.

 

Coordinator of the team’s fund raising project, Fred Edoreh, a former chairman of Lagos State chapter of Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (Lagos SWAN) said they are grateful to all their benefactors.

Edoreh tookm to social media to make their emotions known, as he acknowledged how they were able to finally get flight tickets in batches for the squad on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Edoreh stated: “And, finally, help came and the Nigeria Amputee Football Team are on their way to the World Cup

“Thank you Nigerians, Thank you Super Eagles, Thank you Atiku Abubakar, Thank you NFF, Thank you Amaju Pinnick, Thank you Mikel Obi.”
