Buruj Sports Academy have been invited to a friendly game by the highly prestigious American International School, located in Victoria Island, Lagos, to feature in a friendly game this Wednesday, February 20.
According to the details of the invitation, the match is expected to kick off by 3.00pm prompt in the school premises.
The game which will see players between 15 and 17 years of age play in a seven-aside format is part of the training preparation of the academy ahead of their upcoming foreign tours.
The invitation is also in recognition of the rising profile of Buruj Sports Academy after celebrating their 10 years of existence just last week, and while speaking on his expectations from the high-profile warm-up game, the CEO Salaudeen Waheed, says he feels honoured and delighted that such an international institution with their uncompromising standard recognise what Buruj Sports Academy is all about before extending their invitation.
He also promised that his boys will not disappoint as they will be prepared to give the school boys a good game and hopefully teach them some soccer lessons.
Beyond that, he also expressed his readiness to continue to build on the trust, friendship and partnership with the management of the school in the areas of sports development and how to combine academic works with sporting potentials.
