The General Coordinator of the 2021 NWFL Nationwide League, Sir Joe Amene, yesterday in one of the centres, Ijebu Ode, promised to deliver a standard league competition which has been scheduled to kick-off at the Aguiyi Ironsi Sports Complex, Abuja and the Dipo Dina International Stadium, Ijebu-Ode, from April 11 to 17th.
The teams that will play at the Abuja Centre are: The Invincible Angels FC,
Honey Badgers FC, Abruka Queens FC, Solo Wonders Babes FC, Beautiful Tours Angels, Osklean FC and Crystal Stars FC.
Others are; Fortress Queens FC, FC Niger Amazons and 9ineteen Damsels FC.
While the teams that will play at the Ijebu-Ode Centre include; Prince Kazeem Eletu FC, Unification Queens FC, Oasis Ladies FC, Omidiran Babes FC, Lakeside Queens FC, Royaltoms Int’l FC, Aseyori Queens FC and Danaz Queens FC.
Others are Ekiti Queens FC, FC Phoenix, Papa Soccer Angels FC and Moje Queens.
Amene, who is a board member of the NWFL, noted that; “All modalities have been put in place for a successful NWFL Nationwide league.
“With the help of the NRA, we have appointed top quality referees to officiate the matches of the Nationwide. The areas of technical, security, medicals, logistics and general organization have been perfected to ensure Nigerians witness a top-quality league competition that will produce the best two teams that will be promoted to the NWFL Championship.
“The NWFL Secretariat in Abuja is also ready to give all needed supports towards a great league. The host Football Associations, the Ogun FA and the FCT FA have also expressed their readiness to be great hosts with all facilities intact and ready for action.
“In all, I can say categorically that, we are ready for a wonderful delivery of the 2021 NWFL Nationwide League, ” Joe Amene said.
