Days after announcing that Gernot Rohr has extended his contract till 2022, NFF president, Amaju Pinnick has declared that he is proud of the Super Eagles squad.
Gernot Rohr has been in charge of the Super Eagles since August 2016 and has recently extended his contract till 2022.
Pinnick chatted with journalists via video call today said “Presently, I am proud of the squad that we have. Without gainsaying, we have good players competing for every department on the field in the Super Eagles squad.”
Speaking about Gernot Rohr’s new contract, the NFF president says the coach has earned it.
“We are of the view and conviction that Mr. Gernot Rohr deserves to continue the job he is doing with the Super Eagles. I believe he has earned it.”
Gernot Rohr will be Super Eagles coach till 2022, serving as the longest coach of the national team.
