The All Sports Supporters Club (ASSC) has called on Nigerians to come together and support the newly appointed Super Eagles coach, Éric Sékou Chelle.
The club’s leadership, including President Dr. Johnson Dagana, Deputy National President Alhaji Musiliu Jimoh, and BOT Chairman Otunba Rasheed Oladejo, shared their perspectives on the need for unity as the national team embarks on a new journey.

Speaking on the appointment, Dr. Johnson Dagana said, “We have a huge task ahead of us, and we need to come together as one. Let’s believe in this coach and give him our best support. The joy of our national team is our joy, and we must show faith in this process.”
Adding to the call for unity, Alhaji Musiliu Jimoh emphasized the importance of trusting the decisions made by the Nigeria Football Federation. “It is important that we stand united at this time.
We need to trust the decision made by those in charge and give our full support to the coach and the team. This is about national pride, and we must do our part as supporters,” he said.
BOT Chairman Otunba Rasheed Oladejo also appealed to fans to rally behind the Super Eagles and the new coach. “This is a call for all Nigerians to rally behind the Super Eagles.
The appointment of Éric Chelle is a decision made with the future in mind, and we must trust in it. Together, we can achieve great things if we show belief and give our unwavering support,” he stated.
