The Minister of Youth and Sports Development Mr Sunday Dare has expressed optimism that the 12th edition of the Nigerian Police Games competition will produce talents for the nation as it had done in the past while providing an opportunity for facilities’ development.
The Minister said this when he received the Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the games AIG Ibrahim Alkali, who paid a courtesy visit in his office in Abuja.

“We hope this event will throw up new talents that can represent the country at the Olympics and make us proud. I’m happy it is coming before the National Sports Festival in Benin. So scouts will be sent there to fish out talents. The games will also be an opportunity to develop sports facilities.”
