Arrangement is hitting top notch for the novelty match between a select side led by the Anambra State Football Association Chairman Gen. General Chikelue Iloenyosi and the contingent of the Anambra Police Force preparing for the 2022 Police Games in Uyo the capital of Akwa Ibom later this year.
The game will happen at the Awka City stadium on Wednesday 9th of November 2022 by 3pm.
General Adeleke who will be leading the Anambra FA Select side on the day spoke glowingly of the good works of the Anambra Police Force but urged the Police team to come prepared for the encounter.
*”This is an exercise that will boost the already established relationship between the FA and the Force. The State Commissioner of Police is someone that believes in peaceful coexistence and football can help achieve this. I believe that this tune up game will help the Police Machine team prepare well for the Police Games in Uyo. But as with any match that I have played, I am playing to win. I will have to praise also the Assistant Commissioner of Police in charge of Operation Aniette Eyo for helping to put the Police Machine team in shape in readiness for the Games in Uyo. I am optimistic they will do well”.*
The match will be the first time that the Police Machine Team will play a select side of the Anambra State Football Association. The Police Machine team is expected to be led by the football playing and loving Assistant Commissioner of Police Aniette Eyoh.
