Alimosho League: Samjason FC Begin Defence Title Against H2U At Alade Stadium

Attention would be shifted to Alade Sports Stadium, Ipaja Command, Alimosho, Lagos this Friday when defending champions, Samjason Football Club of Egan would be a guest to H2U Football Club of Ogun State in a week one of 2021\2022 Alimosho Football Coaches Council League.

Samjason FC who won the last edition would face uphill task as home team, H2U are ready to cause upset comes Friday at 4pm.

The performance of Samjson FC last season cannot be undermined considering the fact that most of the outstanding players at the last season came from defending champions. The Samjason players are in high spirits and they are ready to defend the title won last edition.

Samjason coach, Mathias Enebili admitted that the league would be tougher this season saying that his players are equal to the task to face any team.

“It is not going to be an easy as a defending champions because every team would prepare hard to beat us. Having said this, we know the challenges ahead and we are going to work on our strength before our opening match. Concerning our opening match, we are ready and give our opponents a run for their money, “he said.

Addressing the Journalists during the draw ceremony held recently, the secretary of Alimosho Football Coaches Council, Mohammed Jamiu Aberejo said all the teams are ready for the league and urged the players, coaches, managers, fans and club owners to adhere strictly to the rules and regulations.

“All the teams have concluded the necessary documentations except one or two clubs to submit their documents. Presently, all the teams are preparing and looking forward to their opening match.

In other week one matches, Kedge Sports FC would be at home against Bucknor FC next Tuesday, NISSI FC would welcome IGU FC next Thursday, while Newtown G would travel to face Flying Wings next Thursday as Leyenda SFC would be at home against ECAS FC next Friday.
