Alimosho Football Coaches Council League is expected to return on 11 January 2022 as teams are preparing hard for the crucial part of the league.
In a statement issued by the chairman organizing committee, Samuel Uchenna Eke said the league is on break now to allow the coaches, managers, club owners, players, and the organizers to celebrate the yuletide with their families.
He revealed that some club owners are aware of the time they would play their league match saying that any club that fails to honor their match without cogent reasons would be sanctioned accordingly.
“Let me use this medium to thank the participating teams for the doggedness and resilience they showed when the league started. It is a tough league because all the participating clubs have performed creditably well.
“Presently we are on break but the league would resume on 11, January 2022 where the race for the title would begin. This is a crucial part of the league and I want our club owners, coaches, and players to adhere strictly to the rules because we are not going to condone any form of insubordination and indiscipline,” he said.
Eke also commended the teams for keeping the rules and regulations and admonished them to remain so when the league resumes in January.
Action resumes on week 17 on 11 January as Kedge faces NISSI at home. Newton G would be a guest to ECAS, while Bucknor would be at home against Kotech, Defending champions play host to Leyenda as IGU face Flying Wings at home.
