Members of Alimosho Football Coaches Council have concluded plans to organise fund raising and memorial football match in honour of their leader, Ifeanyichukwu Ikpo Moses who died late last year.
The one day event would hold by 7:30am on 28, January 2023 at the Ajao Jimoh football pitch, Igando, Alimosho, Lagos.
The Alimosho Football Coaches Council recently held a crucial meeting and resolved to raise money for the deceased family by organising a fund raising and play memorial football match between Alimosho FCC V Invited guests and “late Ifeanyi”s friends all invited.
Chairman Planning Committee, Toyin Shoyemi explained that the fund raising and memorial match is necessary to generate funds for the late family saying that the council had extended invitations to the football stakeholders in Lagos that would grace the one day event.
“We have started early preparation for the memorial match and fund raising for the deceased family of our late brother, Ikpo Moses who passed on last year.
“Let me use this medium to say the exco has done a lot for the late family and we are coming up to organise a memorial match and fund raising for the deceased family as part of our continued support towards our beloved leader who had contributed immensely to the football development not only in Alimosho but Lagos at large.May His soul continue to rest in peace,”he said.
Among invited guests that would attend the one day event are Chairman Lagos State Football Association, Barrister Seyi Akinwunmi, Chairman Technical Committe of LSFA, Dotun Coker,executive members of Lagos State Football Coaches Association, chairman Ikeja Divisional Football Association, Rafiu Alagbe, President of 36 Lion FC, Olawale Liameed Gafar.
Others are Coach Emmanuel Osahon of FC Robo Queens, Coach Chinedu of Synergy Ultimate strikers, Mr Ayodele Philemon Aliu, the Chairman of Phil FC, Executive Chairman Igando-Ikotun Local Council Development Area, Comrade Lasisi Ayinde Akinsanya, Chairman of H2U FC, Olugbemi Kokumo,Chairman Seamorriow Stadium,Seyi Amos,CEO Lilly Legend, Amarachi Lillian ezeabasilli and Shina Arowosafe, the NULGE Chairman Igando-Ikotun LCDA and host of others.
