Nigeria’s Alice Ogebe continued her impressive goal-scoring form for Egyptian Women’s Premier League champions, FC Masar, netting in consecutive matches.
Ogebe played a crucial role in her team’s 2-0 victory over ZED FC on Friday, scoring the decisive goal after Hala Abdel Sammad opened the scoring for the 2024 CAF Women’s Champions League bronze medalists.
The former Rivers Angels and Edo Queens forward had previously found the net on her debut for FC Masar, making it two goals in her first two appearances since joining from Zamalek SC.
With this victory, FC Masar maintained their position at the top of the league table with 52 points, just one point ahead of rivals Al Ahly. Al Ahly kept up the pressure with a dominant 5-0 win over Maadi.
