Nigerian international Alex Iwobi was on song for Arsenal in their 2 – 1 away win at Huddersfield Town on Saturday in an English Premier League match with his third goal of the ongoing campaign.
Arsenal went into the game with hopes of getting all maximum points to close the gap at the top end of the table and also push for a top-four finish at the end of the season and a return to top flight elite football in Europe.
Alex Iwobi opened the scoring for the London gunners in the 16th minute of the encounter with a fine volley before Alexander Lacazette made it two in the 44th minute with a clean cross from Ainsley Maitland-Niles. The home side almost got back into the game when Arsenal defender Sead Kolasinac in the 90th minute.
Alex Iwobi has scored a total of three EPL goals for the Gunners this season and recorded five assists in 23 league games equaling 1, 322 minutes of play.
