Enyimba of Aba winger, Wasiu Alalade has promised to stay away from anything that would hamper his health and form during the yuletide break, as he must be in shape early next year.
Alalade disclosed in a chat with sports247.ng that his biggest target next year is to to shine with the under-20 national team, Flying Eagles at the continental youth championship in Niger Republic.
He recounted how the team’s coach, Paul Aigbogun told him and the other players that they should to maintain their form and keep in shape ahead of their return to camp.
Alalade said further in the chat with sports247.ng: “All the players are glad with the experience of having played at the WAFU U20 Cup.
“We are happy with what we have learnt under Coach Aigbogun, and I believe part of the WAFU Cup gave us an idea of what to expect at the main competition next year in Niger Republic.”
