As Akwa United Football Club prepares for their upcoming clash against Lobi Stars on Matchday 13, the club’s management has made a plea to fans and supporters to turn out in large numbers on Sunday to rally behind the team.
In a bid to encourage more attendance, the club has also reduced ticket prices for the popular stand.

Sir Emmanuel Udoh, the Team Manager of Akwa United, passionately appealed to the loyal fans and supporters to come out en masse and show their support for the team.
The ticket prices for the popular stand have been slashed to Two Hundred Naira only (N=200.00), while tickets for the VIP section and the State box are set at Five Hundred Naira and One Thousand Naira Only (N=500.00 and N=1,000.00).
Udoh emphasized that the decision to lower ticket prices aims to create an opportunity for more fans to join and cheer the team to victory, especially as they face Lobi Stars in Eket.
He acknowledged the challenging season so far but expressed confidence that with the support of the fans, the team can bounce back and achieve success.

“As Managers of Akwa United Football Club, it has become necessary for us to slash the prices of tickets so many of our fans and supporters can have the opportunity to come out en-masse to cheer us to victory,”* Udoh stated.
“We need all the support we can get, and we believe that our fans and supporters who are always there for us will give us the needed backing and encouragement to get us back to winning ways.”
Akwa United, currently 18th on the NPFL log, is determined to turn their season around and maintain their unbeaten home record.
The team, known as the Promise Keepers, is counting on the passionate support of their fans to bring more glory and honours to the state.
