Akwa United Football Club, also known as the Promise Keepers has kicked off its pre-season training program in Uyo as they gear up for the upcoming 2023-2024 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.

Promise Keepers conducted their first training session at the Uyo township stadium, with 20 players in attendance.
The training was supervised by coach Effiong Moses (MON), who was supported by assistant coaches Umar Abdullahi and Edward Edemekong.
The focus of the initial training session was on enhancing the players’ fitness levels and preparing them for the demanding challenges of the upcoming season.
The Akwa United players participated in a series of rigorous fitness drills designed to improve their muscular strength and cardiovascular endurance.
