An official of the Akwa Ibom State Government in the ministry of youths and sports disclosed to Sports247 on Sunday that the state government have decided to begin a feeders team for the state government sponsored teams like Akwa United and Dakkada FC.
The information was made privy to Sports247 after we learnt that the government had sponsored over two coaches to a coaching course held in Abuja. The programme tagged NPFL/La Liga U15 coaching workshop lasted for three days and is aimed at improving the technical and tactical knowledge of Nigerian youth football coaches.
The two coaches representing Akwa Ibom were coach Edward Green from Akwa United and Coach Nsikak Pius for Dakkada FC. According to reports the two sponsored coaches will be handling the U-15 NPFL/La Liga team for Akwa Ibom State.
