Akumazi United and Divine FA have both booked their tickets for the 2021 IGFL U16 Football Tournament Set for Wednesday 22nd December 2021.
Akumazi United Defeated KG Sports Academy 2-1 on Goals Aggregates to qualify for the finals. Akumazi United won the first leg of the semi finals away at Gbenoba Grammar School 1-0 against KG Sports Academy before forcing a 1-1 Draw against KG Sports in the reverse fixtures played at Umuocha Pry School Akumazi.
Divine FA won Ultimate Stars 3-1 on goals Aggregates to book their finals ticket. The Owa Ekei Based team defeated Ultimate 2-1 away from home before clinching the reverse fixture 1-0 at home.
The IGFL U16 Tournament is organized by KG Sports Foundation to round up the year’s activities. Earlier in November, Emelem United of Umunede clinched the title in the 18 weeks League and Director KG Sports Foundation, Dr Ken Gadaffi has expressed satisfaction in the way grassroots football is developing in IKA Region.
