Super Eagles shot shopper has signed two years contract extension with his club, Kaizer Chiefs, South Africa’s ABSA premiership side.
Akpeyi who joined chiefs during the 2019 January transfer window on an initial one year deal will stay with the South Africa outfit till 2022.

Following an horrendous injury to first choice goal keeper, Khune Itumeleng which kept him out for a long period of time, Akpeyi stepped up in his place and has since produced stellar performances between the sticks.
The Amakhosi team shared on their twitter page, ” We are pleased to announce that goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi who joined Chiefs in January 2019 has earned himself a two- year contract extension to June 2022″.
