Omonia Nicosia has announced that they reached an agreement with FC Copenhagen to sign 21-year-old Nigerian winger, Akinkunmi Amoo with the deal already sanctioned by both parties.

Back in June, Akinkunmi Amoo was in the news over an alleged sexual assault case and appeared in a Copenhagen court for criminal charges which were claimed by Danish authorities in April, July, and August 2022 although no concrete grounds were established.
The 21-year-old has been out of action for over a year with his last appearance for Copenhagen coming against Lyngby in August 2022 after replacing Pep Biel in the 68th minute of the game, which ended 3-0 in favor of Copenhagen, before a ruptured knee ligament injury in training ruled him out of action for nine months has signed a contract that will run for three years with his new side.
The footballer started his career at Hammarby IF and a year and a half later he transferred to FC Copenhagen.

The Greek giants have also extended the deal of Super Eagles goalkeeper, Francis Uzoho.
Francis Ouzoho made 43 appearances for Omonia and had a significant contribution to the successes of recent years inside and outside Cyprus.
“We have reached an agreement with Francis Uzoho to extend our cooperation with the new contract set to run until May 2027,” the club announced.
