Top striker, Akila Jesse has emerged Plateau United Player of the month of February.
The hardworking player scooped the award after putting up scintillating performances to lead the team’s top scorer chat wirh six goals so far this season.
The former Mountain of Fire and Miracles of Lagos marksman, who did not have enough playing time in the last two seasons, has been a revelation this season under Coach Fidelis Ilechukwu.
An excited Akila who was
elated with award, expressed appreciation to his colleagues for their support and cooperation which culminated in the award.

The Kanke born player who joined the Peace Boys four years ago, is having his best season in the colours of Plateau United this time around, after scoring six goals and providing an appreciable number of assists.
The Player of the month award was initiated by Coach Fidelis Ilechukwu immediately he assumed office as Technical Adviser of Plateau United Football Club with the aim of creating healthy Competition for shirts and bringing the best out of the players.
Long throw specialist, Daniel Itodo is the maiden winner of the award which began in October, 2021.
