Ajibade Football Academy of Mushin is not well known in Lagos but the academy has the quality and good players who are ready and hungry for any major football competition in Lagos.
This is a statement of the chief coach of Ajibade Academy, Taiwo Ajaguna in an interview with our correspondent recently. Ajaguna said the caliber of players in the academy are good to play in any major football competitions in the state.
“Our academy is not well known because we are not featured in major football competitions in the state recently. I must confess that there are good players in the academy but they are yet to taste major football competitions within and outside the state.
Asked if the academy is ready for tough competitions, Ajaguna said the academy has positioned itself for bigger competitions boasting that he has trained his players on regular basis and they are ready for future challenges.
“Of course we need tough football competitions in Lagos. We have played series of friendly matches and I am impressed with my players’ performance. What we need now is major football competitions to enable me to assess the players very well,” he said.
Ajibade Academy was founded in the year 2020 in Mushin but presently the academy is currently based in Surulere Girls High School. The academy is having more than 25 players from between 9 to 15 years old.
