Super Eagles defender Semi Ajayi has said that his side need maximum points from their upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against Libya.
The Super Eagles are third on the Group E log with three points from two games and face the Mediterranean Knights in the next two matchdays.
“We’ve got two games ahead of us that we have to win. We have to try and get six points. If we do that coach Gernot Rohr will be happy and we’ll be happy,” the Rotherham United defender told Sports247.ng.
“The first assignment is a home fixture for us at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium this weekend. We can then approach the away fixture with less pressure. We are the owner of our destiny.”
“It won’t be a stroll in the park for us over the two legs but it’s very important for us to win,” he added.
