Having failed to make possession count into goals Nasarawa United Technical Adviser Coach Kabiru Dogo has bemoaned his side’s missed chances during the game against Kogi United at the Aba Center of the Aiteo Cup.
“It’s a game my side would have easily won on good day but profligacy on the part of my attackers cost us a win against a well organised Kogi United with sound technical coach in Tunde Abdulrahman”.
“To be at this stage of the competition is not an easy task so kudos must be given to Kogi United for such feat”.
On his team’s chances of making the quarter finals the soft speaking tactician believes his side has what it takes to beat Wikki Tourist and Akwa United to the qualifications slot.
“We have played against the unknown devil, now it’s against our fellow premier league sides in Wikki and Akwa, we know ourselves very well from the league and I’m quite 100% certain that we will qualify to the quarter finals, he concluded”.
With the draw against NNL high flying side, Kogi United the Solid miners will have to pick maximum points against both Wikki and Akwa United to stand a chance of winning group D of the Aiteo Cup.
