The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has unveiled Air Côte d’Ivoire as the official sponsor and carrier for the CAF TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Côte d’Ivoire 2023.
This partnership positions the national airline of the host country, Côte d’Ivoire, as a pivotal player in the prestigious football tournament.

Air Côte d’Ivoire’s role as the official carrier involves facilitating the transportation of teams, officials, and supporters to and from the tournament venues across the nation.
With its expansive network and modern fleet, the airline is well-equipped to ensure a seamless travel experience for all involved parties.
Laurent Loukou, the Director-General of Air Côte d’Ivoire, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “We are happy and proud of this partnership with CAF for the organization of an African Cup of Nations TotalEnergies memorable for football fans in Africa and beyond.
As a result, our fleet and flight schedules have been readjusted to meet the movement needs of the competition.”
The tournament, scheduled to take place from January 13 to February 11, 2024, will be hosted in various cities, including Abidjan, Bouaké, Korhogo, San Pedro, and Yamoussoukro.
This collaboration underscores Air Côte d’Ivoire’s commitment to contributing to the success of the AFCON 2023, aligning with its strategic role in enhancing the nation’s international influence and economic recovery.
