Nigeria’s youth national team, Flying Eagles coach, Paul Aigbogun has declared that his side is still work in progress, but promised to deliver a squad good enough for next year’s African U-20 Cup of Nations.
Aigbogun stated in an interview with sports247.ng that next month’s WAFU U-20 Cup of Nations will be used as a preparation point for the continental championship in Niger Republic.
The former Warri Wolves and Enyimba of Aba gaffer further said that he is constantly working on ensuring that the team is very well equipped, in order to ultimately achieve the task of excelling at Niger Republic 2019.
Aigbogun added: “We want to use the WAFU Cup as a ground to see some players exhibit their talent to decide their long stay in the team.
“The team will hopefully play about two friendly games before their participation at next month’s WAFU Cup in Togo.”
