Ahmed Musa has commended the N-Youth League Cup initiative which allows U-19 footballers across the country to show case their talents, Sports247 reports.

Ahmed Musa was one of the spectators in the stand when Kano Pillars U-19 and Mighty Jets U-19 battled on Tuesday at the Sanni Abacha Stadium, Kano as the home team ran away with a 3-2 victory.
Impressed by the display of football artistry by the youth, Ahmed Musa gifted the two teams a sum of five hundred thousand naira each and advised the boys to take advantage of the platform to take their career to a higher level.
Ahmed Musa said: “I must firstly commend the NFF and the organizers for putting on such a league which I believe will in no time reawaken youth football in Nigeria”.
“You guys should count yourselves lucky. During our time there wasn’t any opportunity like this to do what we know how to do best.”
” You guys should just be disciplined and work hard”, Musa admonished the players.
Ahmed Musa, the most capped Super Eagles player was in the company of some of his teammates in Kano Pillars as Abdullahi Shehu, Rabiu Ali, also watched the five goals thriller N-youth League Cup encounter on Tuesday.
The N-Youth League Cup is in maiden season. A league platform for selected U-19 teams across the country divided into the Northern and Southern Conference as matches are played on weekly basis Tuesdays and Wednesdays
