Madiba FC has demonstrated commendable performance in the 2024/2025 Nigeria National League (NNL) season. The team kicked off their campaign on November 30, 2024, with a thrilling 2-2 draw against Abakaliki FC at the Pa Ngele Oruta Township Stadium in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State.
In that match, after conceding an early goal in the 7th minute, Madiba FC showcased resilience, equalizing in the 33rd minute through a stunning strike by David Adeyemi. The game was marked by end-to-end action, with both teams displaying attacking prowess and defensive solidity.

Their recent victory over ABS of Ilorin at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena not only added valuable points to their tally but also caught the attention of Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa, who rewarded the team with ₦500,000 for their outstanding performance.
Musa, popularly known as “The Governor,” was in Lagos with his Kano Pillars teammates for an NPFL fixture against Ikorodu City. Seizing the moment, he encouraged the Madiba FC players to stay disciplined and dedicated, reminding them that “the sky is the starting point.”
