According to the DG, “I’m impressed with the state-of-the-art facilities at the Remo Stars Stadium. The facilities are not only massive, but they are modern and compared to what is obtained in most advanced countries.
I have the opportunity of traveling to most countries and what I’ve seen here can compete with those we have seen in other parts of the world. Undoubtedly, this is one of the best privately owned sports complexes and other individuals should emulate what Honourable Kunle Soname has done.”
He further affirmed, “Government cannot do it alone, others should equally initiate the building of private facilities like this so that sports can thrive under the best conditions.
The NIS is open to partnering with the private sector to grow our sports sector. The NNL Coaches training is the beginning of NIS training the trainer’s courses. We shall continue by taking this course to other parts of the country. Facilities like this must be put to best use.”
