MALAWIAN and former WBF World Welterweight Queen Agnes Mtimakunena has landed a lucrative WABA World Supreme Welterweight Title slated for Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) on April 02, 2021.
Mtimakunena who doubles as the WABA Commissioner to Malawi will meet the Indian boxer for the vacant title. The Tournament will take place at the 5 stars Movenpick Apartments Hotel near Al Maktoum International Airport in Dubai. Pinoy and Indian boxers will vie for the vacant WABA International Featherweight Title.
WABA will convene its Standard Level Ring Officials Training Seminar and Mini-Convention at the 5 stars Movenpick Apartments Hotel with participants from East South Asia, Asia Pacific, Africa, Europe, USA, and South America. The Basic Level Ring Officials Training Seminar took place in Dubai from November 16 o November 18, 2020.
In another development, WABA has sanctioned an inter Clubs competition in Dubai in March 26, 2021, where talents and skills will be developed as part of the sanction organization. The events will precede the WABA sanctioned World Supreme Tile on April 02, 2021, at the Movenpick Apartments Hotel, in Dubai, UAE.
