Smart city football club of Lagos will on Friday trade tackles with Premier League side, Kwara united in a friendly match billed for the soccer temple, Agege Stadium, Lagos.
City, the current Lagos state fa cup champions have been training and involving in top-class friendlies since the resumption of contact Sports some weeks ago.
The darling of Lagos who defeated some ex Internationals in their last friendly game will go into this match will some high level of confidence after getting victories in their last friendly games.
Commenting on the game, graciously and heavenly gifted chairman of the city, said the game against Kwara United will be an exciting and tough game.
“The game against Kwara United will be a great game because we have a team that can compete with any team in the country. Kwara United is a good side, but, we have a very formidable team that can give them a run for their money” he said.
“We are using these friendly games to put our boys in good shape before the commencement of the fa cup and Kwara united is a very good test for our boys, it going to be tough, but I see my boys coming out tops, by God’s grace” he concluded.
Smart city in their last two friendly games, defeated Prince kazeem Eletu FC, while also getting the better of ex super Eagles internationals 2-1 last week at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos.
