Lobi Stars of Makurdi captain, Anthony Agbaji has declared that the club will rely on lots of fresh energy to help them get into the main draw of the CAF Champions League.
Speaking to sports247.ng ahead of his side’s second leg fixture in the preliminaries against USM de Loum of Cameroon, Agbaji said the Middle Belt side were well motivated to carry the day.
Although they lost the first leg 1-0 away, Agbaji stated that they had the right focus and quality to win big in the second leg, which was moved to Enugu from their base in Makurdi, due to airport reasons for the visitors.
Agbaji said: “We have fresher energy to get the job done in qualifying to the next round.
“Although the match has been moved to Enugu, we are still at home. We will do the right job in front of our home fans from Makurdi and Enugu.”
