Lobi Stars skipper Anthony Agabji is backing the Pride of Benue to win silverware this season and perpetuate their presence in Africa.
The Makurdi based outfit who defeated Rangers 1-0 to emerge as the Super Cup champions on Tuesday, will be competing at the CAF Champions League, Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) and Aiteo Cup next season.
Agbaji believes that the NPFL defending champions will perform well in the 2018/19 campaign.
“I think we will do well as always,” Anthony Agabji told Sports247.ng.
“Coach Solomon Ogbeide has rebuilt the team in his own image now and we will fight for everything this season. We have the ability to win things and that’s what we will be doing.
“Lobi Stars have become a football force in Nigeria and I can see that carrying on for the next two years or more.”
