Technical director of the Athletic Federation of Nigeria (AFN), Sunday Adeleye has expressed happiness over the forthcoming National Sports Festival, as he says it would be another opportunity to hunt for talents.
Adeleye, who is also athletes’ representative of the AFN, said in a chat with sports247.ng that all officials in the federation are happy that the festival is at hand.
Adeleye said the AFN board members are looking forward to another opportunity to keep the country’s athletes in top shape for the busy line of competitions ahead of them.
Adeleye stressed: “We are already thinking of the African Games that is coming up soon, that is why we welcome this opportunity to keep our athletes busy.
“Those that will participate at the National Sports Festival are already in training and they are in high spirit over the opportunity to be fully focused and busy again.”
