Enyimba of Aba goalkeeper, Theophilus Afelokhai has declared that he and his teammates will target a ‘food’ result against Raja Casablanca of Morocco in the second leg of their CAF Confederation Cup semi-finals fixture, sports247.ng can report.
The Peoples Elephant enter the midweek clash in Casablanca with a deficit, having lost the first leg 1-0 in Aba, but Afelokhai is optimistic of their ability to turn the table.
Though the former Kano Pillars shot-stopper admits it will not be an easy task turning the table against their hosts, Afelokhai stressed that the high spirit rolling through their camp can make a big difference for them in the reverse fixture.
Incidentally, Afelokhai was injured and replaced in the second half of Enyimba’s first leg loss on October 3, but he has regained fitness and was part of the contingent which traveled to Casablanca on Monday.
The team touched down at Mohammed V International Airport at 10am same day and quickly settled in for Wednesday’s game at Mohammed V Stadium in Casablanca, from which Afelokhai says they want nothing short of a ticket in the final.
Afelokhai declared: We have really prepared because we want to win the match, we want to make it to the final.
“By the grace of God, we believe that a good result will come out of the match. It won’t be easy but, by God’s grace, we believe and we will do our best.”
