Free-kick specialist Afeez Nosri and Michael Ohanu have both rejoined Kwara United ahead of the start of the 2020/21 NPFL season.
Afeez played for Kwara United last two seasons under former coach Abubakar Bala and he impressed Kwara fans with his energetic display in the midfield.
Unfortunately, Kwara United relegated the last two terms which masterminded the exit of Coach Abubakar Bala in which Afeez Nosri followed him to Niger Tornadoes.
Tornadoes were hoping to make a return to the topflight last season in the National League before the second tie of Nigerian football was stopped and eventually canceled because of Coronavirus.
Nosri who scored 5 free kicks last two seasons for Kwara United then accepted to return to the Harmony Boys in which he has signed a deal.
“I am happy to be here again because I know that the fans love me and I will do my best to make sure that Kwara United perform very well next season,” he told Kwara United media.
Michael Ohanu on the other hand was with Kwara United for three seasons before joining El-Kanemi Warriors on loan last two years.
The 22-year-old moved to MFM from El-Kanemi and played for Akwa United during the 2019/2020 Nigerian Professional Football League season.
During his first season with Kwara United, Ohanu scored 21 goals and finished as top scorer which helped the Harmony Boys secured promotion to the NPFL.
