Former Super Eagles international, Tajudeen Disu, has expressed skepticism about the Super Eagles’ chances of winning the AFCON if they continue to play in the same manner they did against Guinea Bissau.
Following their 1-0 win, Disu argued that the team might struggle against stronger opponents like Senegal and Morocco with the current approach.

In his original statement, Taju Disu remarked, “And I pray they go there and win. From what I have seen so far. If they play that way with Senegal or whatever, I don’t know if they can win the cup.”
Disu’s comments reflect concerns about the team’s ability to secure victory against tougher opposition based on their performance in the match against Guinea Bissau.
As the knockout stages approach, there is anticipation and debate about the Super Eagles’ prospects in the competition.
