Dr Rafiu Ladipo, President Général, Nigéria Football Supporters Club, expressed gratitude to Sifax and Nigerian Breweries for their support as Nigeria prepares to face Cameroon in the Round of 16 at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2023.
In a statement, Ladipo acknowledged the challenges faced in organizing support for the team, citing the significant costs involved in mobilizing fans to the tournament in Côte d’Ivoire.

He particularly highlighted the generous contributions from Sifax and Nigerian Breweries, the makers of Goldberg, Life, and Zagg, for their assistance.
“I was just only lucky this time around to have a small arrangement, getting two companies, Sifax and the Nigerian Breweries, that have only come out to give me some support which we want to thank them for, but far, far beyond what we need,” Ladipo stated in an interview with Sports 247.
He detailed the financial constraints associated with organizing fan support, emphasizing the substantial costs of transportation and accommodation for fans travelling to Côte d’Ivoire. Ladipo expressed gratitude to Sifax and Nigerian Breweries for their assistance in overcoming these challenges.
Ladipo also called on Nigerians to support the Super Eagles in spirit, acknowledging the difficulties faced by those present in Côte d’Ivoire.
He urged fans back home to pray for the team’s victory in the upcoming match against Cameroon, expressing confidence that with collective support, the Super Eagles will emerge victorious.
