Kevin Akpoguma has arrived at Super Eagles camp ahead of Nigeria’s Super Eagles AFCON 2023 qualifier’s clash with Guinea Bissau slated to hold next Friday at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja at 5:00 pm.
Kevin who plays for Hoffenheim in Germany arrived on Sunday according to the report.
“No other players have arrived apart from Kevin Akpoguma, Moses Simon and Kelechi Iheanacho were the players who have arrived Super Eagles camp.
Super Eagles will have the first training session on Monday at 5:00 pm at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja.
Super Eagles head coach, Jose Peseiro invited 23 players to prosecute the double headers between the three times African champions and Guinea Bissau.
Nigeria in group A is topping the table with 6 points from two matches and is closely followed by Guinea Bissau who has garnered 4 points from two games. Super Eagles will have the AFCON ticket sealed if they beat Guinea Bissau home and away.
Sierra Leone and Sao Tome and Principe have 1 and 0 points to be placed 3rd and 4th on the log respectively.
