In a goodwill message to the Super Eagles, Abdullahi emphasized the team’s potential to become champions of Africa and encouraged them to seize the opportunity to etch their names in the history of Nigerian sports.
“My goodwill message is that the Super Eagles should go out there and know that they have what it takes to be the champions of Africa all the time. And I’m confident that they will go forth and remember that it’s also their opportunity to write their names in gold and write their name in the history of Nigerian sports,” said Abdullahi.
As the AFCON tournament intensifies with the knockout stage, Abdullahi’s words serve as a rallying call for the Super Eagles to draw inspiration from the rich sporting history of Nigeria and strive for success on the continental stage.
The Super Eagles, buoyed by such motivational messages, will be looking to make a significant impact in the latter stages of the competition and potentially secure their place in the annals of Nigerian football history.
